Wish You Were Here: Inside the Āne Print Club
A postcard, an elephant and a note in handwriting. What the Āne Print Club is, why we send paper, and how Friends of Āne works.

One of this year's Print Club postcards has a photograph of an elephant on the front. On the back, in blue type, there is a short poem, and beside it a note in handwriting: a herd of wild elephants walked through the estate, and we spent a whole morning watching them. You wouldn't believe it. Wish you were here.
That is the Āne Print Club in one card. Not a newsletter. Post.
What it is
The Print Club is a piece of mail we send every month from Arehalli. Sometimes a photograph printed on heavy paper, sometimes a postcard, sometimes a letter. Each one is hand-numbered. It goes out with the coffee to Friends of Āne, and it is not sold on its own.
Every card carries the same coordinates: 13.0462° N, 75.8076° E. That is the estate. You could find it on a map, and we hope some of you will.
Why we send paper
Most of what a coffee brand says to you arrives on a screen and is gone by lunchtime. We wanted something slower: a thing you could pin above a desk, prop against a cup or keep in a book. The poem on the elephant card ends with a line we keep coming back to: not something we keep, but something that keeps us.
The prints are made from what we see on the estate. The forest at dusk. The coffee in flower. The stream below the shade trees. The elephants, who were here first. They are small records of a place, sent to the people drinking its coffee.
How Friends of Āne works
Friends of Āne is one payment for six months. Every month we send two freshly roasted 250g bags, twelve in all, with that month's Print Club in the same box. Nothing renews on its own.
You choose the coffee when you join: two bags of Signature Blend, two of Single Origin (ground or whole beans), or one of each.
Sign-ups open on the 1st of every month and close on the 15th, so we can roast and pack for the people we know are coming. If you are travelling, message us on Instagram or WhatsApp a month ahead and we will move that delivery to the following month. You can do that as often as you need.
Wish you were here
We cannot bring everyone to Arehalli. The next best thing is to send a little of it to you each month: the coffee, and a card to go with it. If that sounds like your kind of post, become a Friend of Āne. To meet the elephant properly, read why we named a coffee after one.
